Anita

I was sent this information today from Miss Denise.  She is the woman that is adopting Anita, actually its just about done. When going over her records of all Anita's shots she found out that Anita was behind.  So Miss Dawn, the cook that used to work for Jim and Penie Kock took Anita in to get her caught up.  I hope you all see just a small part of how they abused children at My Fathers House.
Dawn took Anita to the clinic yesterday to see if she could get her any of the shots she needed.  Would you believe that she was there from 7am to 6:30 pm!!!! almost 12 hrs.  The nurse only gave her 1 shot and polio drops for all that time.  I tell you she is a blessed woman.  The nurse was mad as hell at Pennie, becasue she said that the shots are free and she didn't get Anita vaccinated.  She was about to report her as being neglegent, but Dawn told her that they don't have children there anymore.  She said that she put Anita's health in danger all these years by not keeping her up to date especially when the shots are free.  So now I still have to pay close to $20,000 JA to get her up to date.  I think you should put this on your blog for all the people who thought that she cared so much for Anita

I have to wonder why Anita was not given shots by the Lau's or any other families she lived with after the Kochs including a school Principal. It seems that would also be considered abuse?

The Lau's only took care of Anita a short while after My Father's house closed down compared to all the years she lived with Jim and Penie. For your information these were shots she should have received before age 12.That is before she went to live with the Lau's. She lived at My Father's House all those years. It was their responsibility and their neglegence. To try and put this off on the Lau's is rediculous. This is about keeping the children healthy. The nurse was very angry about this and if you are a parent writing this you should be too. Don't get blinded by your support. The only way it was found out that she has not been up to date is becasue she is being adopted. If you don't know the facts, then ask. Don't assume

And further more, it is not the responsibility of the principal to giver her shots. She was not her guardian. Do you put the care of your children, if you have any in the care of your principal????? Come on now. Anita has been living there since she was about 6 months or 1 yr. Therefore it is their responsibility to keep her up to date on her shots especially when they are freeeeeee at the clinic, and if they weren't she had a sponser, so take the money and take her to the doctor and get it done. You can't sit there and be so blinded. If you cant take of children the proper way, then you shouldn't. This is not just about giving children food and shelter. This is being fully committed to them ai all respects!!!!

I don't quite understand what all the fuss is about. Is it only the polio shot? Or are you talking about all her childhood shots. And if the shots are free, why do they now cost money for Anita to get them at this time? Please explain for those of us who read this blog.

It is all the childhood shots that are needed. The polio was just one of them she got the other day, plus one more. They are free at the walk in clinic. But to get the remaining done in the time for the interview, she has to take her to a pediatrician and that costs money.
And second, I have to agree with Miss Denise, when she says 11 years is a long time to be negligent with a child. Anita is very lucky she didn't get some horrible thing and then pass it on to the rest of the children in the home, because if she didn't get her vaccinations then I am sure the rest didn't either. Which makes me think the denist, what about the dentist? Oh Man! I took Dontae in to a pediatrician when he turned one here and got the shots he needed, I can't imagine just ignoring such a major responsibility, that God gave to these people. Something is wrong with anyone out there that thinks different, PERIOD!!!

Thnak you Kim for making it clear. I can't understand what is so difficult to understand. Peole refuse to say that someone is wrong becasue they support them. What was done was just neglect and that's that. If you think differently, then you must not be a parent. Taking care of a child is not just food, clothes and shelter. It is a committment. That was not done in this case. Don't be blinded by your support. If someone is wrong, it's ok to say that, even if we love them. I will say nothing more in this matter. Anita will be well taken care of with lots of family members to love and care for her.
